Lawn & car seats in streets to reserve parking spots.

Residents along Longfellow St NW are using lawn chairs and car seats to reserve parking spots for themselves, preventing myself and others from parking in clean, shoveled spots on the street near my house. Residents should not be able to reserve street parking that is open to all residents. This is unfair as I have trouble finding parking after work and parked far and walked 10 min. to my house while residents are selfishly reserving clean parking spots. One instance at 700 Longfellow St. NW. See attached image.

Street lights need shielding.

The street lights on South Carolina Ave SE east of 9th St SE are extremely bright and shine into residents' windows. Shielding or some sort of reflector needs to be installed so that the sidewalks are illuminated but the lights is not shining on the residents windows.
